The annual WORLD FLIGHT for charity is on again in November 2009. The group will depart Sydney (YSSY) on Monday November 2nd, travelling in a westerly direction and passing through five VATSIM Regions. Most of the time will be spent in the Northern Hemisphere.

WorldFlight itself has many sponsors including Jeppesen.

However if you do post Charts it will certainly help the flotilla of followers we always seem to generate for sure, even if the 'big cockpit sims' don't need em. That way the guys joining in from home have a fighting chance ;)

Maybe the "big sims" do not need the treck around you - but controlling the worldflight "cloud" is fun because of those pilots. You are "only" 4 or 5 planes, while on most short- and midrange flights you are acompanied by a lot more "normal" pilots. So all pilots are welcome to fly the same route, as ATC staffing is more likely (of course not guaranteed) on this route.

As in previous years when the World Flight flys into Portuguese ,this year once again the Portugal Vacc will be there to provide ATC services.....Expect Santa Maria Radar and Santa Maria App.....LPPO_CTR and LPAZ_APP

Thanks, getting this year Sofia(LBSF) Bulgaria EU as a part of this great event .If somebody use FSX, please refer to the scenery for LBSF - sofia_fsx_fix.zip in www.flightsim.com and remove and backup from FSX file named APX54160 prior scenery activation.I forgot to explain that .... :oops:

He meant the big sims don't need the charts, not the tag-along flights.

Hello just checked out this years Route hope lots of ATC show up, just wondering if Edmonten (I think is spelled) is a Discrepency for Edmonton, AB.

Also how can we get all partaining charts from Jeppesen?
