For flight planning, I get my winds aloft on line, the accuracy of FSX depiction of these forecasted winds varies from terrible to pretty good. I have been wondering if there is a way to look at the winds aloft FSX has actually downloaded into FS so planning could be a little more accurate. How far and how many Wx stations does FSX Wx hits and where is that info stored.

I know about all the wonderful Wx engines out there, but my laptop is not going to handle all that right now.

Thanks

i havent used it in forever, but if i remember right, fsbuild has a map that can show either FS downloaded wx, or from one of the addons.

cant remember exactly.
