Hi all,

Since we realized that there is a bigger bug (taxi does not work in simulation) we knew that an immediate patch is required. Meanwhile we received many responses from you here in the forum. There were also some bugs and misused features indicated. Therefore we needed some more time to come out with the patch. But finally it is available for the community.

You can download the complete installer, or just download the modified files in a ZIP. For further information about links check EuroScope homepage: http://www.euroscope.hu.

The complete list of changes are available at http://www.euroscope.hu/install/changes.html. But here is a short list of the changes:
- Simulator TAXI and PUSHBACK instructions do not take off the plane.
- If no secondary radar readout then primary is not correlated anymore.
- New attribute in simulator scenario file. IASVARIATION:<number> to define the IAS variation.
- The ASR simulation mode is changed to “Radar”, “Ground with S-mode radar” and “Ground without radar”. No separate “Professional” and “Easy” radar mode. The correlation mode in the general settings dialog decides if the radar display is professional or easy. In Easy correlation mode the simulation of radar antennas and holes are also disabled.
- Complete TAG dismiss bug is fixed.
- Easy ground mode is available.
- Mouse handling changed a bit. It selects the items at mouse down not only mouse up. And also the small (less than 5 pixels) movements are disabled.

The new release is 3.1d. Unfortunately the 3.1b and 3.1c did not pass the beta testers examination .

I hope you will find it better, more reliable and more fun when controlling.

Maybe a stupid question I downloaded all, it works but where can I find info how to use it when I am flying on FSinn/Vatsim//

You can't. You can have only one active connection to VATSIM at any one time. Either flying with FSInn/Squawkbox or online with ATC client - EuroScope/VRC/ASRC.

You can use EuroScope + FSInn to have virtual Tower, you can find the info in the wiki => http://euroscope.hu/mediawiki/index.php ... Tower_View

Has anyone experienced problems with aircraft not popping up anymore after installing the 3.1d patch? There seem to be a 1-minute delay after connecting to the normal network before traffic and ATC pops up. In the simulator environment, simulated traffic does not appear at all. Any ideas?

UPDATE 1511 UTC: a fellow controller reported the same problem after installing the 3.1d patch. Something must be wrong.

I can't reproduce. Can you both check that all your setting are loaded correctly: settings files, asr, scenery files, servers, files path. Also can you ping the server (with SI or some other program) you are connecting and getting 1 min delay. So far this is the first such reported problem.

CHeck that you set the radar mode again under "OTHER Set/Display settings". I realized the same - I was using Easy Mode before, should be set to "Radar" now in the .asr, "Easy" in General Settings.

1) it will be greate to have VATSIM NOTAM about patch, because not all have knew about patch
2) please, make an approptiate changes in EuroScope Wiki

If you carefully read this NOTAM, you can see - there are no any words about patch! There are only info about about 3.1a release. Most people already downloaded ES v3.1a in beginning of January and do not recheck EuroScope official page or VATSIM forum for patch. Cited NOTAM only about ES 3.1, but for patch, I guess, there one more NOTAM needed.

Sorry, we wouldn't be able to run another notam so soon and only for a patch. If you check the one that went out it covered numerous events including the release of ES 3.1

especially for a program that is being programmed actively, and that is definetely true for Euroscope, you will be doing well in regularly checking its website for possible updates.

Yeh Andreas, we (who interested) do so. But not all vATCO of world...
Maybe Gergely will find a way for automaticaly checking for updates by ES. If ES can check sectors automatic download, why not ES updates...
