Well here we are : FSInn 1.0 is dead, FSCopilot 1.4 is dead. We are now stopping support on FSInn 1.0, FSInn 1.1, FSCopilot 1.2 and FSCopilot 1.4.

FSInn 1.2 and FSCopilot 1.6 are the new reference of our software.

On moment like that i always like looking at the pic , have a look its always enjoyeable :

Some of you may have noticed, there has been big improvement on FSInn and FSCopilot :
- better FPS for FSCopilot (and FSInn)
- high performance P2P
- P2P powerful enought to connect anyone
- VATSIM Voice improved
- better management of aircraft repository
- early support of FSX
- better installers

My pride lays mostly in the P2P that required me over 6 months R&D to make sure i would passthru all kind of routers and ISP. This has really been a nitemare to tune up. P2P is 100% legal in any country, P2P is used only for plane updates.

Futur now is FSInn 1.3 full featured for FSX, FSCopilot 1.7 integrating SimConnect ActiveX, and GWInn 1.0. We are also now prepare to support fully Windows Vista.

Documentation on FSInn and FSCopilot are now avalaible on the download section, Jean luc will contact you in near futur to help improve and translate the documentations. And i am sure the Tutorials will be also updated.
I am preparing right now the release of FSCopilot 1.7 addons source, FSInn 1.2 user interface source, feel free to improve it, translate it or relook it.

Dont forget, this is just a hobby, we try helping as much as we can, but respect us when coming for support, test and give us clues, we hate going back fishing for infos, thats not our job and it takes a lot energy on the dev effort.
This is just a hobby, and we hope to leave noone behind, you dont need to update OS or PC to use our stuff, and please dont reformat everytime you get a little trouble.

Feel free to tell about the release everywhere you want.

Thanks to everyone who helped, and a special thanks to all the FSFDT team that supports me for more than 2 years now.

Richard

Just a quick thanks from a dedicated FSInn user to both you and Ben for succesfully resolving the "difficulties" that surrounded this version and Vatsim. I'm probably not the only one that was a little concerned that 1.2 may never have been with us on Vatsim after the problems over approval and I am very grateful to you both for getting it all sorted out :D

Even if I don't plan to buy fsx, Thanks for this version both Benjamin, Richard, and the Code Review team!

Hi There

Having bought FSX and wanting to fly online I had to download FSInn and FSCopilot to do that.

Can I say that i donwloaded FSinn1 earlier this year and just couldn't get on with it, I found it all to confusing.

Now using FSX most of the time for online flying I have had to get to grips with FSinn, can I just say what a brilliant piece of code and programming it is, i don't know whether you have changed things in FSinn or whether it was the fact that I had no choice if I wanted to fly online but now I love FSinn, its brilliant, and I cant wait for the fully implemented FSinn for FSX.

My self and some others did notice what we think is a bug and that was when two of us where using FSX and Fsinn and a friend was using FS9 and SQB3 we could not see his aircraft.

It took sometime but we found out through a process of elimination that when he was in a Bell Jetranger we could not see hime but in any other aircraft we could see him.

Also if either of us in FSX changed to a Bell jetranger we would then not be able to see our friend on FS9. We think its a bug regarding data packets in relation to the Bell Jetranger model. All very confusing.

This is a well known MS simconnect bug. There is no helicopter at all in simconnect AI control.
