NOTAM: FOR THE LATEST AND MOST UP TO DATE LIST OF CHARTS AND FLIGHT PLANNING LINKS, PLEASE VISIT http://usa-w.vatsim.net/charts/ . THIS POST WILL NO LONGER BE UPDATED, BUT PLEASE FEEL FREE TO REPLY TO THIS THREAD WITH ANY ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS. THEY WILL BE AMMENDED TO THE LINK PROVIDED ABOVE.

Free Aeronautical Charts

http://www.d-s.demon.co.uk/charts/index.htm -Try going here first. Its one of the best "all-in-one" spots to find all the charts your little heart desires!

www.myairplane.com -My airplane.com is a great resource for VFR sectionals, TAC's, IAPS, SID, STAR, and Airport diagrams. USA Only.

http://www.airnav.com -airnav.com is a great site with every chart you can imagine including fine details about any US airport! USA Only.

http://www.aeronauticalchartfinder.com/ -This is an EXCELENT site with charts for the entire world.

http://www.naco.faa.gov/index.asp?xml=naco/online/d_tpp -This is US Government site that provides the most current charts for the entire USA.

http://www.navdata.at/php/charts/charts.php -This is an excellent site for links to worldwide charts and airport information.

http://www.adg.dk/ - This is the Airport Destination Guide. Its geared specifically towards the Flight Sim Pilot...especially VA pilots. Neat site!

http://www.ead.eurocontrol.int/ -This is the European AIS Database website. Lots of charts, but you'll need to register (free)

www.fscharts.com -not a very informative site, but it does list the proper ILS Approach frequencies and give a shoddy diagram of the airport. Worldwide.

https://164.214.2.62/products/digitalaero/ -The National Geospatial Intel Agency. This is an INCREADIBLE site with loads of real-world information including, but not limited to, Military flight procedures and routes, worldwide charts, Enroute charts, and more.

www.avsim.net -Do an extended search and type in Matt Fox as the desired author, and "sectional" as the description. This will bring up a multitude of Hi res sectionals and Terminal Area Charts. A MUST HAVE for VFR Flyers!

http://www.vatsim-uk.org/Oceanic/nats.asp -More information about NAT Routing, but very outdated Track information.

http://www.vatsim-uk.org/Oceanic/pilotprocs.asp -Valuable information that you'll want to read up on BEFORE doing a trans-Atlantic flight.

Flight Planning/Flight Management

www.fltplan.com -Fltplan.com is an excellent resource actually used for real world flight planning, however is available for us simmers as well. You have to register (don't worry it's free) but it's well worth it! This is the best site to find USA Government Preferred routing.

http://www.pmfp.com -The PM Flight Planner is a new program in the works. It has a pretty steep learning curve, but is a nice program. Worldwide.

http://rfinder.asalink.net/free/ -Another neat worldwide flight planner.

www.simroutes.com -An AWESOME flight planning utility put together by VATUSA. TRY IT!!!

http://www.myoddweb.com/courseplanner.php -CoursePlanner is an excellent FREEWARE tool that includes a moving map and much more.

http://www.fsroute.com/ -A nice little Flight planning website... not as useful as some of the others listed above though.

http://www.cpinf.net/web/products.php?cat=1 -Super Flight Planner is an excellent FREEWARE tool that includes a moving map and much more. Still in BETA. TRY IT!!

www.fsnavigator.com -Many Flight Simmer's will agree that this is the single most valuable PAYWARE utility one can own. Too many features to list. Not the best at actual flight planning though.

www.fsbuild.com -another TOP NOTCH PAYWARE flight planning utility. This one is HIGHLY recommended.

http://www33.brinkster.com/vatbrz/sicpv - VATSIM BRAZIL Flight Plan Center, ICAO based, the system will show all local VA and real airlines RPL - Repetitive Flight Plan.

http://flightaware.com/live/ - This is an AMAZING site! At the top of the page simply type in what information you have or need. You'll be able to see whatthe last ACTUAL real world routing was to and from any certain airport.

I'm sure I have over looked a few sites. Please post them below and I'll add them.

Lots of great links.

You will find all your chart links here.. in one place.

www.d-s.demon.co.uk/chart/index.htm

The main thread I've been trying to get "stickied" for ages is here

actually, the link you provided is on my list above. In the event that the UK site goes down, or just isnt the choice for a person to use, Ive included other links that are just as informative.

In the research I have done, no one site has EVERY single chart that one can need...hence the reason I posted them all.

Good day,

I see the link now! So many links made me miss it. Sorry if it came across as churlish.

Seems I may need to add a few more links to the page  .. but you are correct.. it is only one of many such pages of links... that are all valuable to the community and a personal preference where you source them from.

Nice work all the same Chad and thanks for your efforts.

Time to bump this thread again, as yet another pilot has just asked where to find charts.

Please is there any chance this thread could be made a sticky?
