  1. Here you are. I think that now is usable. I tested it with OBS , added a panel as browser with various sizes and it looks ok.

  2. I personally think this change was a terrible idea. You really lose the community feel when you can't see peoples names. Over the years as pilots and controllers you get to know many of the people on Vatsim and see them flying on Vatspy or on your scope etc. When it goes anonymous you really lose something great. I am trying to think of a benefit to this....other than perhaps the one pilot in the witness protection program but other than that I have no idea.

  4. This Tutorial shows how to install the BlueBell CSL into the latest version of xPilot. It is now a lot simpler. A Tutorial how to use the converted XCSL will follow soon 😉

  6. Hi @Adar Polachek! At the present time, vUSAF, much like vUSAA (see Sean's post above) does not actively make use of a CRAF. We do have policies in place for such activities, though, which have been activated in the past. If this is of interest to you, please send me an email ([email protected]) and I can connect you with the appropriate party on our end.

  7. No, I suggest that when it is too busy you should log on to a smaller sector that doesn't span 1000 NM with 60+ aircraft in it because that is utterly ridiculous and no fun for anybody. Definitely not me as a pilot! As I say: you cannot seriously be telling me that it is possible to properly scan and manage 60 aircraft on frequency. Can you? Why not log on to one of the smaller Maastricht sectors instead and have 10-20 aircraft on frequency passing through who you can speak to and actually monitor properly? If it is too busy, reduce the size of your airspace so it is less busy and yo

  8. https://vatsim-scandinavia.org/forums/forum/54-plugins/ You install and load the plugin in Euroscope for Standard ES Screen. Euroscope --> OTHER SET --> Plug-ins--> and load it to the --> Standard ES Radar Screen For enabling it go to the SETUP list, left in the top grey bar of TopSky you enable the display of precipitation via Setup-->Weather Map. Remember, its not clouds but only precipitation where weather radar gets returns from it. Its data source is https://www.rainviewer.com/ My settings: TopSky-> Setup -> Weather Map Brightness 20

  10. Wow, this wee trick really works. 90% of my CSLs with xPilot (current version as of April 15th) were mismatched. Just tested 5 airports in US and all 100% correct. I did this for both BlueBell and x-CSL (OBJ8 files). Flattening the directory a bit and not having xPilot work so hard in finding the right aircraft and livery appears to do the trick. Thanks so much for this valuable tip!

  11. I believe http://www.vusaa.org/vam/index.php does this, unsure however. @Brin Brody may know. I'd recommend to contact him over the forum or via his artcc.

  13. I think this says it all: If the current VATSIM President can't be expected to know all airspace boundaries - why would you expect that of pilots? Yes, for things like spawning on an airport and taking off, it's obvious they should've contacted you, but still, .contactme and move on. If they don't listen, .wallop. It's more productive than expecting pilots to have the level of experience of actual, real world pilots, and complaining when they don't.

  14. As a suggestion to pilot connection software (like vPilot, etc...), would it be possible to show pilots they are, or are about to enter, in an area covered by a controller? Worldwide coverage is a huge task, I know, so maybe done by regions or even more locally. A bit like Euroscope knows what sectors does what and what the coordination requirements are (in the .ese file). Is something like that technically feasible for the pilot connection software? For example, a pilot is about to enter FIR B with ATC from FIR A with no ATC..... 5 minutes before entering FIR B, the pilot gets a no

  15. Hi guys, my name is Daniel Regueira, I am virtual pilot and controller in Vatspa Spain. I am also deaf and use a cochlear implant but I find it difficult to understand people by voice as I am not face to face to understand it since I need to use text with the pilots. My reason is to give a suggestion to the vatsim team and the euroscope team is to put an option to check text-only box and when the drivers enter the frequency they receive a few beeps and that a text or sound that says sorry sir appears, on this frequency is not available for voice, use only text because the controller is deaf. 16. Are you a Euroscope user and getting used to not having a list of who is in your voice room? Why not try out the Radio Direction Finder plugin, simulating the Eurocontrol RDF system. The first community developed AFV compatible plugin is now available, developed in cooperation with the AFV dev team finding time between other bug fixes to collaborate. Update to the lastest AFV Standalone Client, and go to https://github.com/chembergj/RDF/blob/master/README.md for plugin download and more info. Best regards,
