  1. Is there a way to send the Scratchpad to the a/c with a Built In Functions?
  2. To further our endeavours to bring the Virtual world in line with the real world, I announce the UNICOM frequency for South African aviators and Controllers as amended from 122.8Mhz to 124.8Mhz with immediate effect. As a Pilots you are requested to note this change in your remarks field for others to learn (or as a controller in your ATIS) for at least the next 4 weeks. Fellow pilots (especially foreign) must be requested to broadcast their intentions on 124.8 when OUT OF Controlled airpace. Pilots flying in UNCONTROLLED airspace are requested to do AIREPs every 10 mins on voice and/or te
  3. Hi Andrew, I designed an access database to create the scenario files too. maybe we should swap and have a look at where we can improve on each other.. Yes? Email me your mdb file and I will send you mine. Cheers

  6. Lat/Long Converter http://www.fcc.gov/fcc-bin/convertDMS Cheers guys...
  7. Hi Chris; I setup a few scenarios in ACSIM and tested the water. Wow! Yes it is an amazing add on! Thanx to you and the software team who designed it. Having more than 10 a/c is horrific for any sane instructor! - You become the pilot, the mentor, the critic and also the adjacent controllers, let alone picking up on the student's failings. If we dont have enough pilots to fly, where can we get more INS? My big stress is converting the co-ordinates in the "FPL". May I suggest that the starting position of the a/c is entered as a FIX/Stand/Bay/Gate (on the sector file) rather than th
  8. Thanx Luke.. Just for those of you who are battling.. Use servinfo in the File menu to save the server IP's to the correct file - then add the sweatbox.vatsim.net ip. Also - Lat Long coordinates are entered as Lat +ve values north of the equator Long +ve values East of the GMT line. eg Europe would be LAT 80 Long 30 South america would be LAT -30 Long -50 etc At last I saw the targets.... and no more waiting for training sessions - Thanx guys!!
  9. HI Chris, I dont have a clue how to : 1. Enter the correct Lat Long coordinates 2. How do I save a situation?? Dont you think it would be a good idea to enter sample data?
  10. Paul, I dont blame you at all. We are certainly not "thick" anyone able to connect to any virtual aviation network must have some valuable IQ. Does anyone know what the format is for the Lat /Long? Developers: Maybe some eg.s next to the fields would be a good idea - no????
  11. I cant find the ipaddr.txt file anywhere in asrc directory. Can someone send it to me please.. [email protected]
  12. Hi Daniel. Thank you for these wonderful ideas. Im going to set my team to work on it right away.. Hope to see you online too.
