  1. Have you tried using this command? .dcenter {point} This will adjust the lat/lng ratio of the map based on the point you specify (i.e. airport ICAO or fix ID). By default it uses the sectorfile's center. Depending on how far you are from the center, and how far you are from equator, this command can make a big difference.
  2. Cool project! I think the best option would be to create a plugin. This gives you much more information than you would get from the Euroscope proxy ([Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned runway, SID/STAR, ETA, etc.). What kind of printer do you have? It should be possible to print directly from the plugin using MFC, with almost any printer. I actually wrote a plugin a few years ago for use with a USB thermal receipt printer. Unfortunately I can't find the source code for it, and the strip layout is hardcoded, but if you are interested I can send you the .dll.
  3. For those interested, I found this on the vacc-sag forum: https://board.vacc-sag.org/129/41565/ Just create an .asr file with the following line: ARRIVAL:ENGM Unfortunately, I only got it working with ES 3.1..
  4. Hi, I found a post from 2008 where Gergely introduces a built-in arrival manager screen: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=35766&start=15 Unfortunately, the image links are broken. Is this a hidden feature in EuroScope, or was it never made public? Sounds very interesting! Best regards, Even
  5. Try this: https://web.archive.org/web/20180415051102/http://euroscope.hu/
  6. Perhaps a silly question, but are you sure your output and input devices are set up correctly in the hardware setup dialog?
  7. Sorry for the late reply. This should work: - http://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-2-0-Digital-DVB-T-SDR-DAB-FM-HDTV-TV-Tuner-Receiver-Stick-RTL2832U-R820T2-A-/311491542276?hash=item488657bd04:g:dVYAAOSwAKxWUuVN The included antenna is very bad though. I recommend looking for one that is specifically made for 1090 MHz. Make sure you have the correct adapters to fit the antenna input. You can also consider the ones from flightaware (mostly the same hardware as the one I linked to above): - With filter: http://www.ebay.com/itm/371774565983?rmvSB=true - Without filter: http://www.ebay.com/i
  8. I would recommend a cheap RTL-SDR-receiver and the dump1090 software (https://github.com/antirez/dump1090). Dump1090 can output data in the SBS-1 format, which SBStoFSDproxy (see Thimo's link) can connect to.
  9. Interesting! I have been working on something similar for vieving real air traffic: http://radar.vnas.net/ (It's currently downloading radar data from https://www.adsbexchange.com/ but it was earlier receiving live packets from my own ADS-B receiver over websocket). The map data is taken from the Norwegian sectorfiles but it's been portioned into different JSON files which is stored on the web server. The map projection I'm using is just basic cylindric projection that looks very similar to the EuroScope projection. Have you looked at the node-ffi (https://github.com/node-ffi/node-ffi) pa
  10. Try to uncheck the option "Connect to VATSIM" in the connection dialog in ES
  11. Have you selected a default recording device in Windows? Try this: Open recording devices (right click on the speaker on the taskbar -> Recording devices) and set one of the devices to default (right click -> Set as default device).
  12. I think the only way you can use the button as PTT in your ATC client is to use a software that listens to the mic and emulates a keystroke while sound is detected (the button on your device is used for unmuting, right?). I don't know of any such software, and I don't think it will work so well either.. I suggest you return the DA40 and the PTT and order the SHS2355. The SHS2355 will appear as one joystick device and one sound device. I use this with the H51N headset and it works great
  13. How do you get the PTT working with ES/VRC using this setup? I don't think the DA40 has a built-in joystick micro-controller? :/ to me it looks like the PTT on the SSP1051-03 is just for muting/un muting the microphone, without a separate circuit for the PTT. In that case, you will need a software that emulates a key press based on sound detection, in order to simulate the PTT. I would have bought the SHS2355 instead, which is USB sound and PTT in one adapter.. the PTT is detected as a joystick button and can be mapped to a keystroke using joker.
  14. Matthew, there is no legal or inexpensive way to get raw data from FR24. In order to see real traffic in ES you need your own ADS-B receiver. However, if you share your own ADS-B data with ADSBhub.net, you get access to all raw data shared by other users of ADSBhub (quite good coverage in Europe). This can be feeded to your Euroscope using Gergely's SBStoFSDproxy program.
  15. Here: http://tiny.cc/tid You will find the necessary links in the description.
  16. When will it be released ? I'll have a quick look at it Available now! http://forum.vatsim-scandinavia.org/index.php?/topic/2641-euroscope-natcon-plugin-available/ http://flightsim.no/forum/smf/index.php?topic=65501.msg672032#msg672032
  17. Thanks! It's an app for controlling the NATCON plugin (to be released soon). Used for setting up the screen, doing handoffs, edit flightplans ++.
  18. Hi Nick! I think the arrows are from the EuroScope-font. ^ (ASCII #94) is drawn as arrow up, while | (ASCII #124) is drawn as arrow down. I don't think there are any equivalent arrows pointing horizontally in that font..
  19. Using Internet Explorer, most docomeents are treated and opened as PDFs inside the browser, but some docomeents (especially those from UK) are added to the download queue as unknown file types. However, they can be opened in Adobe Reader later. It works fine in Google Chrome. One example is this aerodrome chart at EGKK: EGKK: http://www.aircharts.org/data/view.php?id=57e1b2d1-b85d-5857-b58b-3871af5a977d Any idea why? The reason I'm asking is that my application is using the default web browser (IE-based) in .net/C# to display your charts. It looks like the same problem applies to your
  20. Looking good! Thanks! Edit: Found a couple of other things; - If you search for "ENVA" it looks like it's having some trouble with special characters. There is one map listed as "Area Chart - Værnes/Ãrland/Røros TMA", and in the XML the "name" is empty for this node. - Also; Search for "ENNO" and open "Area Chart - Oslo/Farris TMA". That gives me this link: "https://www.ippc.no/norway_aip/current/aip/ad/enno/....EN_ENR_6_3-1_en.pdf". For some reason the link has been shortened with ".....". The same chart is available if you search for "ENTO", and the link there is fine: "https://www.
  21. Thanks alot, Daniel, this is great! One thing; it looks like some charts are missing at some Norwegian airports. If I search for ENVA or ENBR there are no SID or STAR charts available. They are listed on the Norwegian AIP: https://www.ippc.no/norway_aip/current/aip/ad/enbr/enbr_en.html Is this something you could look at?
  22. I'll try answering your first question: have you tried this program? http://www.highrez.co.uk/downloads/XMouseButtonControl.htm It lets you map any mouse button to any keyboard button or combination.
  23. Nice evening at Norway Control http://s1.postimg.org/3puegfr0d/ENOS.jpg Merry chistmas to all controllers!
