  1. The Cross the Pond Team generates them and assigns them to the routes pilots get prior to the event starting.
  2. Yep. C_152 is not a model in MSFS. vPilot defaults to the Generic Airliner Quad Engines Asobo 00. Not sure why it did not for you. To fix this problem please copy and paste the following into your default model window, then hit apply and ok. Generic Airliner Quad Engines Asobo 00
  3. Still a lot of unknowns here. Did the Center Controller clear you for the Approach? If so, continue onto the Final Approach fix and he should clear you for landing or handed you off to the tower if online around there. If not, ask him if you're cleared to land, he may have been busy with other aircraft and forgot. If not, then ask the center controller if you are cleared for the approach.
  4. If you do not have an Approach or Center controller online, then you should contact the tower a mile or 2 prior to the final approach fix or about a 5 mile final. If you do have Approach or Center online, you should be with them already.
  5. The test resets after an hour. Log back into myVATSIM and you should be able to take it again.
  6. It's a lot of fun and gives you a great opportunity to visit small airports and do GA operations. I just wish they would update the airport codes to 2020 🙂
  7. Make sure that you have your audio control panel on your aircraft set correctly. It's possible that the functionality doesn't work correctly in the MSFS planes, due to the simconnect variables they use, but we would need to further test that to be sure.
  8. As an update. We are in discussion with Asobo about this issue. Please keep the bug reports coming!
  9. Check all of your router / modem settings to ensure that you don't have a problem locally, otherwise check with your ISP.
  10. Looks like an issue between your computer and your ISP.
  11. Have you checked that there should be aircraft next to you by using a utility like VAT-Spy or simaware.ca? If so and they are still invisible, please type ".aircraft" (no quotes) and take a screenshot of the window that pops up and post it to this thread.
  12. You need to enter in an aircraft type code in the box below as opposed to just selecting a recent aircraft. The recent aircraft list will work once you've connected to the network for the first time as a timesaving method, but honestly I just type my callsign and aircraft type in each time and don't use that feature.
  13. This is a Microsoft Issue and nameplates for VATSIM aircraft do not appear above other VATSIM aircraft. There currently is no way to change this. Microsoft is aware of the issue.
  14. can all of you experiencing these problems type .aircraft in your vPilot window and paste the screenshot of the Aircraft window here?
  15. The very large Mode C and IDENT buttons on the top of the vPilot window next to the connect and flight plan buttons🙂
  16. I have replied to you privately via email.
  17. Everyone. The question has been answered. No need to continue to have heated debates here. Let’s all take a few and cool off. Thanks.
  18. That's a whole other issue. The TCAS and traffic maps do not pick up VATSIM traffic as they haven't been programmed to do so. This is a good topic to submit to zendesk.
  19. Interesting as I've never had that happen with a vPilot update. Perhaps instead of doing an auto update, uninstall vPilot, download the update from the website, and reinstall vPilot from that update. Not as easy as an auto update, but it would be helpful to know if that caused you the same problems.
  20. It can take up to 24 hours for everything to sync up. Have you completed your P0 exam in myVATSIM?
  21. Prefiling is super convenient when you are preplanning and using something like pfpx or simbrief. Everything prepopulates and you hit send. Then you can just connect and call up atc without having to use the flight plan window. I find that a bit more clunky than using prefile.
  22. Those are likely being added back in by the website for clarity. As far as ATC goes, the hyphen is not recognized or input into the system in the real world. The controller would see CGLKT. Therefore the more modern clients on VATSIM do not allow for the hyphen.
  23. I can't confirm it, but all the requests are currently handled by one person. Give it a couple of days and if it has not been processed, try emailing pilot training,
  24. if the freeware developers create the models and paints then I don't see why not. The issue right now is that the legacy models and paints from FSX P3D do not work with MSFS and thus must be made new. Once that happens, there is no reason on our side that they would not be able to work on VATSIM with a new VMR
