  1. One possible temporary but tedious workaround that I can see is having vPilot "interpret" and round up or down frequencies manually if it senses that it is an abnormal frequency, and then send an automatic ".com1" command back with the correct one. It might take a lot of work however, and not sure if it is worth the effort..
  2. The question has now been deleted, thanks for the heads up!
  3. This is clearly wrong, I will give feedback to the team about it. 🙂
  4. Hi! You can find all the information about XSquawkBox in the software manual, found here: https://xsb2-manual.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ You will find the answer under "Configuring XSquawkBox"
  5. There might be, yes. Give it some hours and then check back, it should have been updated. 🙂
  6. I'm sorry, I'm having a bit of trouble understanding you. Do you mean you have not got the email? In that case, you need to check your registered e-mail adress. Open a ticket at membership.vatsim.net and they will help you.
  7. Hi! Can you elaborate, what do you mean you haven't gotten anything back? Did you not receive an email, or are you unable to reconnect with the new password?
  8. Saw you joined again. Kicked you once more, instead of joining back in, refresh the page then head to the settings page. Instructions should be there. 🙂
  9. We aren't using invite links as everything goes through VATSIM's SSO. I've notified the people who has made the integration, and knowing them, they will probably respond pretty quickly.. 🙂
  10. Kicked you from the server, try again now. 🙂
  11. What is your discord username in the community hub, as it is set now?
  12. Hi! FLAi works by utilizing CSL's, or low resolution "dummy planes" in order to not hog your frames. They do not provide liveries for default, playable planes unfortunately.
  13. Matt is correct, all request are handled manually by the Vice President: Pilot Training. If nothing has been done after a reasonable amount of time, email him at [email protected] Note that it might take a week or so. 🙂
  14. Set both multiplayer and AI traffic to off. VATSIM injects its own traffic into the simulator, and works independently of those. 🙂
  15. I am not sure what you are quoting here, but if it's against the rules, then it is against the rules. Observers are not allowed to transmit or have any "visible activity" on the network itself, hence the name 'observer'. If someone has quoted that it's okay, please link it so we can clarify it.
  16. Not sure how this is a support topic. Moving to general.
  17. Indeed! I know it's a lot to learn and grasp, that's why we're here! 🙂
  18. Yes sir! VATSIM is independent of your flight simulator - regardless of which simulator you're using, you'll see everyone in other simulators as well. 🙂 Cool, right?
  19. Hi! We currently don't track that information, so that isn't possible I'm afraid..
  20. VATSIM doesn't run well with MSFS yet, there is a bug causing your fps to drop to unusable levels. There is a patch coming one of the following days that will fix this issue. Don't judge your computer's performance on how well it runs with vPilot now, wait until the patch comes out. 🙂 But good initiative!
  21. VATSIM automatically injects traffic no matter what setting you are on, but we recommend you turn off the AI and other multiplayer traffic. 🙂
  22. I can tell you for sure that a real life PPL is a BIT more than that... 🙂 Though, the VATSIM P1 (PPL) rating is based on the real life requirements, but of course dumbed down a lot to fit the simulator community. Pilot ratings are optional, so you don't need one to fly. If you want to engage and gain new knowledge in your flight simulator "career", then pilot ratings are for you. It has an educative purpose, but the fact that it doesn't fit for you specifically, doesn't mean it doesn't fit for other people. 🙂
