  1. The network Visiting and Transfer Controller policy section 2 states However, had a controller transferred and is awaiting “local assessment” and training, as per the same policy, how does this relate to the number of hours a controller can control any positions they have visiting validations on? Is there a guideline to how this is enforced - I see a grey area as not being able to control for a while whilst awaiting revalidation for a new division would lead to more work for the new host division? [I’ve posted this elsewhere in the forums probably in the wrong place so
  2. The scenery should still work, what specifically is not working?
  3. All, The network Visiting and Transfer Controller policy section 2 states Which for the most part is crystal clear. However, had a controller transferred and is awaiting “local assessment” and training, how does this relate to the number of hours a controller can control any positions they have visiting validations on?
  4. To clarify - I don't wish to visit and control yet. I'm asking on behalf of a friend but thought it actually needs discussion as it's one of these wish washy rules that gets changed whoever reads it.
  5. Question- obvs I'm an S1 right now so won't apply to me currently - but is there a specific requirement detailed in the Transfer and Visiting Controller Policy about specific rating required to visit a vACC/Division? Or is it local regulations? Thanks.
  6. So, I'm controlling LJLJ (Slovenia) and I've got an aircraft that on my mentor's scope, VATTASTIC, vRoute and everything else is showing to be over DVR (well he's just p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]ed it and entering EHAA now) ..... bit bizzare as he's nothing to do with me, but he's on my euroscope. Ideas anyone? http://puu.sh/s4eb8/adb552a6c1.png http://puu.sh/s4eBr/9d2172de92.png
  7. http://www.mediafire.com/file/ziu868bmrmunxk6/Sal+Island+X.rar The best one yet, and accurate as ever. I would recommend for group flight - and it supercedes the one advertised above by Trent!
  8. Yep, totally acknowledged! I've had coverage a few times on my way down from AFRN and GCCC so it's not too bad; just a shame this beautiful region isn't being "worshipped" as the place it is - No Stress Cabo Verde is the mantra there iirc - I was there for only a week a while back, but probably the best week of my life. If you haven't been made aware FSDG have released GVSF (Fogo) and the closed airport in Brava - totally freeware! I won't link it, but its available at their website and is absolutely awesome! I also hear that a local dev that (I'm in contact with) is working on a scener
  9. Hey all So I've started venturing out of Europe and one of my new favourite flights is Cape Verde. But there's rarely (never) any ATC en route, is this area actually part of a vACC? Also, I've found a scenery online for the area that looks awesome, but the link has expired and nobody's been around since about 2014 to fix it. http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/threads/developing-cape-verde-sal-island-scenery-gvac.433043/ Can anybody [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ist? Apologies if this is the incorrect place for this.
  10. +1 - the Sofitel at Heathrow would be good! Easy to get to, and AFAIK it's cheaper than some venues. And... It's Heathrow.
  11. It really depends on where in London it is. Like, a hotel in the city centre will cost upwards of 90 GBP a night. It really depends on what you like. A proper hotel in London can cost over 200 pounds, but there's a lot of variation and it depends on when and where. I wouldn't shell out that much, I'd prefer a "budget hotel" which are perfectly fine in London (just avoid Feltham, Peckham and Tower Hamlets - my opinion ofc) Being cheaper, I'd personally settle for a Premier Inn (Large UK hotel chain, dotted around London, near Tube stations - will cost 60 GBP+ a night) - Comfy, safe, helpful

    Typo

I'm a little bit stupid. I've just requested a new SSO site, and added the IP. But I realized in the name I spelt it incorrectly.. Its meant to say FlySweden Virtual, NOT FlySwden Virtual as I requested. Could any staff with CERT SSO access change this for me please? Thank you!
  13. Never underestimate the power of Big A. Haha, I won't - I'll write an email tonight.
  14. Hi Andreas! Thanks for the information; I'll get back to you / the Director ASAP. Regards, Damon
