  2. On Sunday, October 4th, the Dutch VACC invites everyone to join Runway to Holland, a single runway operations event held at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Enjoy the view on final approach of departing aircraft getting ready for take off, and expect short lines at the holding point as you watch aircraft landing. This is not a view that’s commonly seen at Schiphol Airport! The airport will be fully staffed from 17:00 till 20:00 UTC. All kinds of traffic are welcome.   4. On Saturday, September 5th the Dutch VACC presents their Amsterdam Overload at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (EHAM). We will be online from 11:00 to 21:00 UTC, so there’s no excuse to not join us! On Saturday August 22nd, between 12:30 and 15:00 UTC, we will have New York John F. Kennedy (KJFK) staffed to the gills to accommodate your departure to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (EHAM), where we will provide a full crew to sequence you on final.   9. On Sunday, February 23rd, the Dutch VACC will be organising a remarkable event at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol: a Surveillance Radar & Non-Precision Approach Night! The purpose of this event is to give pilots an opportunity to fly and practise something else than ordinary ILS-approaches. We’ll offer you a choice between SRA approaches on our main landing runway during which you are “talked down” by a controller giving you precise altitude and heading instructions. As an alternative, we also offer non-precision approaches including VOR, visual and circling approaches to the secondary land
