  1. I installed the stable vSTARS available from the official download page on my new computer. When i started vSTARS I got the following error: Could not initialize SoundManager: Could not load file or [Mod - Happy Thoughts]embly 'Microsoft.DirectX.AudioVideoPlayback, Version=1.0.2902.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. I then tried running as administrator, then uninstalling it and installing the beta version 1.1.7, and running that as administrator. Still not working. Thanks in advance!
  2. The error appears a few seconds after I start vSTARS, before I select to open a facility file, and I try to open settings after I open the facility file.
  3. I've tried disabling my anti-virus and Windows Firewall is set to allow vSTARS. I've also tried running vSTARS as an administrator. Is there anything else it could be?
  4. I do see a dialog message which says "Error downloading server list", which seems to appear every time I initially launch vSTARS. When I open the facility file, the only 2 messages in the chat log are "Performing version check" and "Version check complete...".
  5. I have a headset which is set as my default recording device in Windows, but I haven't set vSTARS to use that as I can't access the settings.
  6. I installed vSTARS 1.1.5 (and emptied the config file through the installer), I opened the facility file in vSTARS successfully, but when I press ctrl+s to open settings, it shows an Unhandled Exception error.
