  1. I'm having the same issue. Sim crashes a couple seconds after connecting to the network.
  2. I've gotten xPilot working in VR using Oculus Desktop to bring the window (and my iPad with ForeFlight, using LonelyScreen) into the VR space. As for PTT, I'm the OP in the other thread, I got it working using AutoHotKey to bind the Y button on my left controller to the c key as a PTT, then just need to make sure I have a notepad open and focused to make sure it works properly. It's a pretty clunky workaround, but it does work for now. Hoping for an update to allow direct PTT binding to xPilot.
  3. Update: It works! Managed to get the PTT working with xPilot using the AHK shortcut with the Rift controller. It doesn't register if X-Plane is the "focused" window on the desktop, but if I have it set to enter text in a notepad, the TX works on xPilot!
  4. Tested in xPilot, still no response to the VR controller.
  5. Set up as instructed, but it's still not registering for me. I can open a text docomeent and see that pressing the PTT I [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned is sending the correct key input, but AFV still isn't registering it. Did you get it working? If so, how? Great, that's the first step, checking with a text doc. I'm not sure why it isn't working, but try this: (I did all this without the helmet) [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ign FIRST the PTT key on xPilot settings by PHYSICALLY pressing that key on the keyboard. Connect to VATSIM. Leave the xPilot window visible to check Tx status. With the

  7. Thanks! And that's working fine for you? Mind sharing your code or where to find a guide? Limited experience with AHK, no idea how I'd go about writing that.
  8. Clarification: I was able to set PTT on the joystick with no problems and fly just fine with that, but as previously mentioned, would prefer to use only the VR controllers.
  9. Tested AFV / XSquawkbox last night, using X-Plane and Oculus Rift. AFV wasn't allowing me to set a button on the VR controller as PTT, seemingly not registering the button. I've been able to set things up like this for XSquawkbox and PilotEdge, but AFV seems not to allow VR controllers as PTT. Does anyone know a fix for this or an alternative VATSIM client that would work? I really want to avoid using my cheap and inaccurate Logitech joystick instead of the VR controllers.
  10. Thank you! I copied that over and it connected on the first try! I [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ume I'll still get the error message, but at least this works. Should I be worried about the server list changing at any point? Some of the other forum posts I've found said that they reset IPs every now and then. If that's the case, where can I find an updated list?
  11. What was the problem/solution? I'm having the same issue and would love to know what to do.

    VRC Issues

Not sure if this is the right place to post this..... I've been having huge issues setting up VRC to learn ATC. I followed multiple setup videos on YouTube and looked at many, many forums and none of them solved the problems I'm having. When I load VRC, it shows up with an error saying it couldn't load the server list and 0 servers were found. This has happened since I installed it, so I don't have any cached servers, and this has happened on two different computers on different networks (one on a campus network, one on private with port forwarding set up for all ports used by VRC). A
