very nice indeed, is it based on the TAATS profile that was developed for Euroscope some years back in terms of the way the scope looks.
-
Probably different to Euroscope. I think you are using the TAATS plugin. Which does look vastly different from regular Euroscope.

To the newbie - First Time Jitters
Wycliffe Barrett replied to Thomas Parker 944601's topic in General Discussion
I hate to say this but man up. After 200 hours you should be more than ok. Just load up at a small quiet airfield not Heathrow or KJFK and just do some vfr circuits. -

Google cap 413 and go to chapter 11. Then read chapter 11. CAP413 is the UK CAA radiotelephony manual and will show yu exactly what you are supposed to say. just to let you know The CAA decided on using a particular form of communication after the Tenerife air disaster. At that time there was no standardisation f radio communication whch lad to confusion by the pilots as to what they had been told to do by the ATC. -

You do, when you transmit in xpilot the TX button lights up. -
HI Magnus I am trying to sort out an issue on my facebook Xplane dedicated group re SWIFT, and who is allowed to test it on the VATSIM network. My understanding is that VATSIM has granted you (SWIFT) authority to be tested on the network but that it is you who decides who can go on the network. Now this seems a little odd as you have opened up SWIFT for public beta testing. As such I myself have been using SWIFT on the network, I have also produced a video for my youtubechannel discussiing SWIFT and its obvious advantages. www.youtube.com/wycliffeb I would be grateful if you could

Matt that is covered, Wycliffe -
Hi all i have been a little busy of late what with my conversion to xplane and airport building, just managed to catch up on the thread, good to see its still alive, (never thought this project would fail) and people still seem to be contributing requirements. I like the idea of the alert system but as Ross and Dan have identified Ithink there are to many issues re airspace that make it not a viable option. Whilst reading I was thinking about the London Control Area, and how yo would split that, impossible. It would be nice for the future, the distant future, but i say hold off on that

Greg Can I suggest you look at the forum regarding the new pilot client that is in development, his will be a cross platform pilot client and will be compatible with xplane. It's been in development sometime now by volunteers. There is still some way to go, but it is being developed and will look breathtaking when completed. Until such time xsquawkbox works fine with 32bit, I flew last night in my a320 by jardesign perfectly well with no issues. The only problem with flying he T7 in 32 bit Is descent control which needs close monitoring. Wycliffe
