  1. We actually had to take it down since the resources required to run the page weren't available at the time the event started. Sorry! Best,
  2. The 9th Annual Boston Tea Party is just around the corner! This year's annual event will be held July 19, 2008 live from the Daniel Webster College campus in Nashua, NH from 12:00 PM - 8:00PM EDT (1600z - 0000z). As many seasoned VATSIM pilots can attest to, this exclusive event is the most thrilling, interactive of them all. With the opportunity to receive payware prizes from our sponsors and to be a part of the thousands of operations handled by our finest controllers, who wouldn't love to join us in the fun? This year's event will feature over 28 of our controllers together (possibly a
  3. That was a long night. Interesting, no doubt, but long. Wish we had a video of that.

  5. When I messed around on the STARS console at Boston Consolidated TRACON, the DCB allowed the selection of up to 5 or 6 single radar sites in addition to a digital mosaic feed (of all of them). The use of normal terminal environment radar separation standards generally requires the use of a single-site radar (varies by facility), whereas the use of a digital mosaic feed increases those separation standards. The same setup is also exists at N90, where each area uses a single radar site on ACD, but can use surrounding area sites without increasing separation. Once they switch to a mosaic fe
  6. Congratulations, Nick! Awesome choice, Lee. Nick will do a great job in ZSE. Best,
  7. How can I do this? There is no font file in C:\ProgramFiles\VRC, and I have already re-installed 2 times. It's in your windows font folder: C:\WINDOWS\Fonts
  8. The VRC font probably wasn't installed correctly. Try re-installing VRC and if that doesn't work, delete the VRC font and run the setup wizard again. Hope this helps.
  9. A similar issue was discussed on the VRC forums a while back. Although the light may remain on for up to 2 seconds after releasing the PTT key, your transmission stops when you release the key. It was also mentioned that the state of the PTT key is polled every 10 milliseconds and p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]ed to the voice library every time it is polled.
  10. I originally posted this in the main Tea Party 2007 thread, but figured it'd be better to dedicate its own thread instead. On behalf of the vZBW ARTCC, I'd like to thank all of the pilots and controllers who supported this event, the most successful Boston Tea Party yet. In just under 5.5 hours, we saw close to 550 operations in our airspace which certainly wouldn't be possible without the loyal pilots, controllers, and administrators who make this network run. A big thanks to Dave Norris who programmed a Traffic Situation Display (TSD) system for us in the matter of days and all 22 cont

Congrats to the 2007 Boston Tea Party Airport Poker Winners: #1 Kyle Weber #2 Lance Williams #3 B
  12. We'll all be leaving the hotel shortly to start setting up and look forward to seeing you on our scopes!

Safe flying,
