  1. Is there any update regarding this issue as well?
  2. It seems that after redirecting back from VATSIM, if successful, the return URL does not include the state parameter. It only has code. The state parameter is only included if access is denied. (Reposted from the other forum since it seems this is where questions should be)

  4. The United States division now has a system in which pilots can be notified of ground stops, delays, and preferred routing. Similar to the FAA OIS, TMU Notices allow facilities to communicate ground stops, delays, routing, etc. to other facilities. This is especially useful during events or busy periods. For VATUSA purposes, this will be also be called N.T.O.S.: National Traffic Operations Status. VAs can utilize these notices via the public API. Contact your VA's tech team if you want this incorporated in your websites and applications. API Docomeentation: https://api.vatusa.net/
  5. Hello everyone, Is there any data service available on VATSIM that would allow me to retrieve a controller's full email from their CID? I know that this is possible through SSO, however, they need to be logged in. My goal with this is to keep our division roster current with our website's roster by automatically adding controllers to our website's controller database. Thank you, Blake Nahin VATUSA Seattle ARTCC C1 Webmaster, Mentor
  6. I was mentoring a student at Portland Intl. on Sweatbox tonight, when I received repeated PMs from 4 different aircraft: [05:148] ASA1290: This is a simulated plane/controller connection provided by SLC_CTR. No controller received your message. Anyone know why this happened? Blake Nahin VATUSA ZSE C1 Webmaster
  7. Turns out it was the voice boost causing the problem. My voice isn't perfect, but has greatly improved. Thanks everyone!
  8. Hi Colin, I'm using SkullCandy earphones with the mic built in.

    Voice Quality

Hi Everyone, Whenever I transmit voice, the pilot says that my voice is very muffled and somewhat unreadable. I don't know what causes this, I re-calibrated many times and changed the device from 'Wave' to 'DirectSound' and back many times. The microphone is on my headphones a few inches from my mouth. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! -Blake
  11. can you tell us where you found the answer? This would help some of us that are looking for answers
  12. I may have found a decent workaround. I am using the Loquendo "Kenneth" Voice and TextAloud. TextAloud records the file as a 16bit PCM 16000hz file. Open the file in audacity, change speed +120, set rate 7350hz. Gets it almost right on the money.
  13. Hello, as the title sugests, i am having a problem. When i open a file in audacity and then convert the sample rate, the wave form gets longer and the tone goes deeper. Is there something I am missing here for converting the the sample rate correctly?
