  1. VATSIM Saudi Arabia is recruiting for the following positions! Department of Air Traffic Services [ATS]: 1. ATS Director - [ACCSA3] 2. ATS Deputy Director - [ACCSA7] Department of Human Resources [HR]: 1. HR Deputy Director - [ACCSA8] Department of Pilot Training [PTD]: 1. PTD Deputy Director - [ACCSA9] Department of Air Traffic Services [ATS]: 1. ATS Director - [ACCSA3] Position Duties: Manage, guide, lead and oversee the Department of Air Traffic Services of VATSIM Saudi Arabia and the department's staff. Construct, run, develop and oversee the department's training programmes on Air Traffic Controlling. Recruit and train mentors to conduct training sessions for the department's training programmes. Ensure the quality of ATC training provided by the department and its mentors by making sure it is always up to the vACC's and the VATSIM network's standards. Contribute in the development of the vACC's policy on Air Traffic Services and wherever needed. Submit end of quarter report of training as part of the quarterly divisional report. Suggest improvements to develop the department and it's programmes. Create exams, materials and other resources to support the training of students and controllers when controlling on the network. Occasionally produce contents related to the department to be posted on social media platforms. Regularly conduct surveys of members on the ATC services provided by resident and visiting controllers and acting on the feedbacks. Other duties as assigned by the vACC Management. Position Requirements: Hold a permanent VATSIM C+ rating with at least 150 accumulated VATSIM logged hours as an ATC. Has logged 50+ hours on the VATSIM network in any Center position (XXXX_CTR). VATSIM Saudi Arabia vACC resident or willing to transfer to the vACC. If transferring to the vACC then has to familiarize with local procedures and AIPs. Be in good understanding with VATSIM. Can speak and write in fluent English. Has great knowledge of Air Traffic Services. Has good leadership skills. Willing to invest a time and energy on a weekly basis for the benefit of our community. Knows how to communicate with the public in a professional manner. Has good teaching capabilities. Willing to become a mentor. 2. ATS Deputy Director - [ACCSA7] Position Duties: Tasks assigned by the director of the department. Contributing to the development of the department. Assist the vACC management or the department director where needed. Some or all of the duties of the department director may also apply. Position Requirements: Hold a permanent VATSIM C+ rating with at least 150 accumulated VATSIM logged hours as an ATC. Has logged 30+ hours on the VATSIM network in any Center position (XXXX_CTR). VATSIM Saudi Arabia vACC resident or willing to transfer to the vACC. If transferring to the vACC then has to familiarize with local procedures and AIPs. Be in good understanding with VATSIM. Can speak and write in fluent English. Has great knowledge of Air Traffic Services. Willing to work under the director of the department. Willing to invest a time and energy on a weekly basis for the benefit of our community. Knows how to communicate with the public in a professional manner. Has good teaching capabilities. Willing to become a mentor. Department of Human Resources [HR]: 1. HR Deputy Director - [ACCSA8] Position Duties: Tasks assigned by the director of the department. Contributing to the development of the department. Assist the vACC management or the department director where needed. Can write and publish VATSIM related publications to be posted on all our marketing and communicating platforms. Conduct regular surveys for residents to see how we can better improve the vACC. Reach out to newly joined residents and help them settle in. Coordinate with divisional or other vACC membership staff when a transfer of member takes place (if needed). Come up with interactive activities for vACC residents. Produce reports on a quarterly basis based on number of active residents and the growth of membership. Respond to tickets or any enquiries that may come through any vACC support platforms and coordinate with the appropriate department or staff to come up with a solution. Position Requirements: Hold at least VATSIM S2 rating with at least 100 accumulated VATSIM logged hours as an ATC. Has logged 30+ hours on the VATSIM network in any Tower position (XXXX_TWR). VATSIM Saudi Arabia vACC resident or willing to transfer to the vACC. If transferring to the vACC then has to familiarize with local procedures and AIPs to continue controlling with their ATC rating . Be in good understanding with VATSIM. Can speak and write in fluent English. Can work with social media platforms and emailing applications. Willing to work under the director of the department. Willing to invest a time and energy on a weekly basis for the benefit of our community. Knows how to communicate with the public in a professional manner. Has the patience and motivation to deal with beginners and help them. Department of Pilot Training [PTD]: 1. PTD Deputy Director - [ACCSA9] Position Duties: Tasks assigned by the director of the department. Contributing to the development of the department. Assist the vACC management or the department director where needed. Can write and publish Pilot Training related publications to be posted on all our marketing and communicating platforms. Conduct regular surveys for residents to see how we can better improve the Pilot Training of the vACC. Conduct regular group training sessions on different aspects of flying to educate our residents on Pilot Training. Come up with interactive activities for vACC residents related to Pilot Training. Position Requirements: Hold at least VATSIM S1 rating with at least 30 accumulated VATSIM logged hours as an ATC. Hold at least a P3 (Commercial Multi-Engine Land) Rating; or, A real world pilot with at least a Commercial Pilot's License and willing to show proof in order to avail the VATSIM P3 Rating or greater. VATSIM Saudi Arabia vACC resident or willing to transfer to the vACC. If transferring to the vACC then has to familiarize with local procedures and AIPs to continue controlling with their ATC rating . Be in good understanding with VATSIM. Can speak and write in fluent English. Willing to work under the director of the department. Willing to invest a time and energy at least once a week for the benefit of our community. Knows how to communicate with the public in a professional manner. Has the patience and motivation to deal with beginners and help them. Has teaching skills and capabilities. The Caribbean Division is currently accepting applications for the following staff positions: Santo Domingo & Port-Au-Prince FIR Air Traffic Manager San Juan CERAP Deputy Air Traffic Manager Duties of the ATM:- Must maintain an online presence on the VATSIM network- Drafts FIR/CERAP SOPs, LOAs and other appropriate documents- Ensures FIR's SOPs, LOAs and other appropriate documents are readily available for viewing/download- Functions as VATCAR staff member and attends meetings as necessary to discuss and stay current with region and division issues, policies, and initiatives- Manages and defines the duties of FIR staff, accepts applications for new positions within the FIR.- Provides guidance and help to assigned controllers; may establish a staff of "Mentors" to assist with training- Works with or delegates a liaison to work with region/division-level Events Coordinators on events as necessary- Reports to the Caribbean Division Director *ATM may delegate certain duties to other members of the FIR/CERAP staff.
