Today the divisional staff has accepted the resignation of John Koranteng as our membership director, John will officially vacate his position on the 30th of September. Since joining in the start of the year, John has helped us achieve many milestones and helped us attain a positive and reputable outlook towards our community and the network. John has helped us achieve more goals between divisions, events and our signature bi-annual event Cross the Land. John has also helped us elevate our standards and organization for the division to make sure that everything was in order. Please join me in thanking John for all he has done and we hope to see you around on the network!
Dear VATSIMers, Inline with VATNAF's current restructuring process, we are currently looking for an ATC Training Director to take on the following roles and tasks: Develop the required documentation, manuals, and guidelines. Supervise the ATC training in VATNAF's vACC's. Enforce the maintenance of ATC proficiency and currency with real-world operations and procedures within the vACCs. Coordination of ATC coverage during events. Training of ATC personnel within VATNAF’s vACCs (if required). Other ATC related tasks as they surface. The candidate will need to: Hold a minimum controller rating of C1. Be in good standing with VATSIM. Become familiarized with general real-world ATC procedures, and be willing to familiarize themselves with those enforced in VATNAF's airspace. Agree and subdue to VATNAF's Divisional Policy posted on VATAME's HQ.
