About Me

  1. When I receive clearance in the UK, they just give me a SID, a squawk and sometimes the active runway, but when flying in the U.S I receive a transition level and a departure frequency. I understand the frequency and the rest of the clearance, just a bit unsure on what is meant by "[] transition." Would really appreaciate some help on this as the U.S seems like it's so fun to fly in! It always seems so busy and most airports have at least 1 Controller active which means there will never be a 'quiet' section of my flight.
  2. After a hiatus of a few years, Cross The Pacific is back!! Full ATC service will be provided during the event include San Francisco Radio! This year’s event is going to take us from the East coast of Asia, from Incheon (RKSI), Beijing Capital (ZBAA) and Narita (RJAA), to the warm and golden beaches of Seattle (KSEA), San Francisco (KSFO) and also to the arctic cool landscape, but always warm welcoming Anchorage (PANC). The event will take place on March 20th 2021, with the first departing aircraft leaving at 100UTC from Incheon, Beijing and Tokyo Narita. * Ev
