I'm trying to use the Wilco ERJ190 and no matter what I do the gross weight always seems to be over 40,000kg. I've lowered the fuel and payload.

Are you parked next to the fuel pumps by any chance?! Also, make sure that it isn't a conversion issue in regards to the fuel/payload weights. You may think you are filling up in pounds but it could be kilos instead...

I checked that, and I am at a gate away from fuel and it is displaying in pounds. I had FSX give me kilograms and it still came out to around 49,000 when the highest weight on the chart is 37500.

I tried taking off without figuring v speeds and it lifted at around 150 knots. This is what the chart that came with it said was for 35000 kg.

Somewhere on the wilco site is some docomeentation

for the erj190.

Most if not all weight charts supplied with the product refer to the 170.

There is a good tutorial for the Ejets - refers to the E170 but suitable for both - at http://www.flytutorial.com/ along with one for the E145. They are free but there is a button for PayPal donation if you so wish.

Best regards

William

The problem has been resolved. I was using the incorrect charts.
