Gentleman, start your engines. Lets get the controllers onboard for this Soccer 2010 trail run.

Pilots, be patient, we are training and need your support.

 

Depart FAJS, full stop landing FAPN. Depart FAPN and Arrive FAPP

The reverse route from FAPP with full stop landing FAPN

TWO OCEANS NAV CHALLANGE

Friday, 05 march 2010 @ 17H00z

 

Pilots and ATC, this challange is a dry run for a proposed air race to be held. This will give all the chance to practice and familiarise themselves with the course. On departure set your local clock to 05H00 Zulu

 

Machines: Any Single Prop

 

Route: Depart FALW, climb 4500ft set direct route for RIV VOR. 5Nm inbound descent 1500ft and maintain crossing the VOR. Maintain heading, 2nm outbound from the VOR, climb to 4500ft. maintain a 18nm arc on the CTV VOR.

 

Crossing the R220 outbound on the CTV VOR, climb 5500ft and set direct route to the OBV VOR (Overberg). At FAOB, request a touch and go on the active and set route back to the CTV VOR. Request permission to land at FACT.

 

Frequencies: RIV (117.600), CTV (115.700), OBV (115.400)

Friday Night IFR Events present:

 

CAPE TOWN TWISTER FLY-INFriday, 17th September 2010 @ 17H00z to 20H00z

 

Navigate this fly-in to Cape Town with a twist.

 

Departing FYWH (Windhoek) we will comply to a standard departure (SID), however 75% through the flight we will divert to a standard arrival (STAR) for Robben Island 4C Cape Town.

 

Full ATC on departure and arrival. Please ensure you have the maps for this routine. All separation rules will apply.

 

Set your local clock to 15H00z on departure.
