FSX SP1 and Squawk Box?

Hello,

 

I have just tried to do my first flight using FSX on VATSIM. I connected and all and when i put the Com1 to the ATIS i start receiving the FSX default ATC ATIS and dont connect to the VATSIM ATIS channel, and the same when i try to connect to other ATC possitions. So might this have somthing to do that i dont have the FSX service pack 1 installed or will it be somthing else?

this is the Xsquawbox help forum, Xsquawkbox is the client for Xplane. use the squawkbox forum for squawkbox 4 for flight simulator.

 

in your FSX settings, turn down the ATC volume, itll get rid of the FSX ATIS and AI ATC sounds.

 

just means ATC and ATIS happens to be on the same ones FSX uses

The problem is not that i hear the FSX ATC, its that squawk box doesnt connect me to the ATC chennel even tho i tune the right COM channel. anyway ill try the other sub-forum, sorry for that.
