Deputy Director – VATCAR2

 

Duties:

 

* Reports to the VATCAR Director to [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ist with Division management activities and policy development and implementation

* Primary liaison for VATCAR membership management

* Stays abreast of current issues and contributes to discussions and dissemination of information within the VATCAR community

* Stands in for vacant VATCAR Division Staff positions when required

* Functions as a VATCAR Division Staff member and attends monthly meetings

* Maintains a regular online presence on the VATSIM Network

 

 

Requirements:

 

* Must have at least 12-months membership with VATSIM

* Must have at least a Controller (C1) rating.

* Must be an active member of the network in good standing

* Must have excellent written and oral communication skills

* Must be able to work in a team environment

* Must be able to provide 2+ hours per week performing VATCAR duties

 

 

Additional Experience:

* Instructor or Mentor experience on the network is a plus

* Previous managerial or administrative experience on the VATSIM network or real world is a plus
