Hey Guys

I got a question about the active airports and runways in euroscope. What file determines the airports available to be active? If it is in a sector file, where can it be found and edited? I'm using a common sector2 file that is commonly used with VRC.

First place to look is in your Sectorfile Extension (.ese) and go down to the [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned area of control.

Example: ESE_Files_Description

~-------------

SECTOR:MGT:34500:66000

OWNER:MGT:BPT:NIT:EUE

ALTOWNER:When no BPT:MGT:NIT:EUE

BORDER:MOPUG_LYBA:LOMOS_MOPUG:MOPUG_NERDI:BUDOP_MOPUG:MOPUG_LHCC

~-------------

and just add the runway you want active:

ACTIVE:LROP:08R

This way every time you logon to the nerwork that will be the active (which you can change while in ES).

Just one more thing ... if you are using a VRC sector file without ESE file, that won't sufficient for a proper EuroScope setup. You need an SCT/ESE combination. If you already created an ESE to your SCT, make sure you make those small adjustments to the SCT.

Thanks for the help guys. I don't have an ESE file, however editing some aspects of the VRC sector file gave me all the information i need to control.
