I was hoping to squeeze in a feature request for future updates or if somone is clever enough to write a plugin for this. Basically I am hoping for a STCA that has some additional features. Filtering 1. Be able to specify a radius that includes a specific altitude band where a STCA is ignored. Such as 40 miles around ABC VOR. 2. Be able to specify an exclusion zone (such as a FIR boundary is defined) where STCA does function (at a specified FL or all FL´s). 3. Be able to filter out STCA alerts based on a squawk range, such as from 1000 to 1700. Function: 4. Be able to define a custom color for a STCA in a given mode, such as coloring the datablocks a certain color such as yellow when STCA detects collision is 2-3 minutes away, then color it another color, such as red at and within 2 minutes. 5. When at the 2 minute mark, play a certain sound specified by the user. The STCA should exclude alerts between two or more A/C in the given range but still produce an alert between an A/C in the range, and an A/C not in the range. Also 1 and 2 go hand in hand, as long as one can either specify an exclusion zone based on segments and/or radius of a given point.
