Hi there, I'm using ACSIM (not TWRTrainer etc.), and I would like to know how do I control the aircraft on the ground for the student? Or are ground movements impossible with ACSIM, and need something else?

Ground movements are not possible with ACSim. You'll need to use TWRTrainer or Euroscope.

You can move them in a straight line but it's too much work when you're overwhelmed yourself with the traffic. An unrealistic.

Sebastien, use Euroscope. With that, it's just like the "real" thing.

Want to do a LFFF_CTR Sweatbox, ei?

Haha^^

Actually Miguel, I'll be doing the mentor this time, so nope, not on LFFF

I guess I'll just have to use ES for mentoring then^^

Actually, doing mentoring sweatbox is quite good for the mentor as well, to train on heavy-load situations. Even when I'm mentoring in GND / TWR, I have to put aircraft on ILS, simulate go arounds, readback clearances, perform correct taxi (or deliberate incorrect). So I actually think it's more work on me than on the trainee

You can also split the task with another controller (S3+) who can log in as well and act as a bunch of other pilots so that it's not too much at the same time and also to help you keep your voice at the end of the session

VRC wouldn't know. Euroscope doesn't need any.

The only ports needed are for the regular intercom which seem to be UDP/TCP: 3291 and/or 6811.

Hmm strange... because I did some tests earlier today, and the person couldn't connect to my session...

Make sure you connect to "Start Sweatbox simulator session". And your student connects to Sweatbox.
