Do you get any error message at the bottom of VRC when you are disconnected?

This might provide some insight to the problem

Cheers!

can you post a screenshot of your login screen? double check and make sure your rating is set correctly on it

also after you try to login, save a text log of the attempt and post that.

if you can connect to the sweatbox server and not the VATSIM servers, thats a bit strange.

according to your stats, you definitely seem to have an issue maintaining a connection to the network even with the pilot client, correct? if so, it may be something local maybe with your ISP or something

double check your firewall on your router(if you're using one) and see if ports the following ports are forwarded to your PC:

6809 TCP

3782 TCP+UDP

3290 UDP

Jesil, if you use a router, what hes telling you to do is port forwarding, you do that from the routers admin screen

thanks for the screenshots.

sounds like you are definitely being blocked somewhere.

do you use Windows 7?

have you already tried the port forwarding option mentioned earlier?

do you have antivirus?

the one thing i find weird is VRC is able to donwload the server list just fine according to your screenshot.

so if you cant connect, it would seem to be something blocking that attempt, but its not blocking VRC from downloading the servers on its own

im not familiar with those 2 antivirus programs but some have their own firewalls which remain on even when you disable the antivirus part of the progam. you can try adding VRC to their allowed programs list and see if it works

turn off the router, plug your PC directly to your modem, and see if you are able to connect
