One might as well say howlong is a peice of string, because individuals learn at different rates. Someone miight go from Observer to C3 in 6 months if they have 24/7 availability and a mentor who could take them all the way through. So if your planning on being a particular rating by a particular time it might not happen according to your plan. Your mentor should be able to give you an idea as to how your progress is going.
