Can anyone suggest a really good weather add-on for X-Plane 9. Looks as though Active Sky is for FSX. Also, what is the best free-ware weather add-on or do they all come with a price?

Moved to the Xsquawkbox section from the FSINN section of the forum, FSINN and Activesky are Microsoft Flightsim addons

There are no X-plane weather add-ons of which I'm aware.

XSquawkBox uses VATSIM weather.

REX is available also for X-Plane, at least for Windows users. Unfortunately, not for Mac guys like me.

The best weather add-on for XP9 would be XP10. It should be out later this year

XP9 is not capable of having multiple weather systems loaded at the same time (ie, one weather system to the west, and another to the east).

It can handle multiple layers, certainly, but it's still just a single weather system.

What enhancement are you looking for, specifically?
