How to use SID and STAR in the built-in simulator

Recently, I'm trying to build a scenario file for self-training. But I still have no idea how to let the ACs in the simulator follow a SID/STAR. I've added the SIDs and STARs into the ESE file, and I can see the automatically [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned SID/STAR in the flight plan settings dialog. But after the last way point, the AC won't follow the STAR but maintain its heading.

Could anyone help me out, please? Thanks.

Kent

In the current version you have to specify each SID/STAR waypoint in the scenario file, so you can't let the aircraft fly a different procedure "on the fly." In the next ES release the simulator interprets the flight plan including SID/STAR directly, so you won't have to specify the route waypoint by waypoint anymore.
