Even'n!

It seems that the server we are hosted on has "reported a defect", and "is currently being investigated by onsite Engineers".

I don't, as of yet have any timeframes in which things will be back up, it could be small and be up in minutes but in the case it isn't it is important to stress that: Operations are as normal. Mentoring sessions are not cancelled as the site is down nor has the practical exam on Gatwick been postponed.

The minute I know something, I will post it here, otherwise..

Enjoy!

Harry.

You need only look at posts on this forum to realise the frequency of such outages is higher than just about any other site I use.

Perhaps time to source a new server company?

The same thought crossed my mind Stuart. How long was the outage back in April/May?

Of course, this will be for the UK staff and techies to think about

To answer your question Andy:

http://stats.pingdom.com/uutk9g3sgkvm/283297/2011/04

http://stats.pingdom.com/uutk9g3sgkvm/283297/2011/05

Regardless, as Harry said "Operations are as normal. Mentoring sessions are not cancelled as the site is down" and further may I add, controlling and flying on the network will still be taking place as normal as it did over the last outages.

Up and running again!

Rest [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ured guys, when it comes to renewing where we are hosted we will be considering all the options, as we always will, I hate having our part of the network offline as much as anyone else.

Nevertheless, apologies for any inconvenience caused by the downtime, if anything strange is observed do let me know as soon as possible at [email protected]

Just in case the chaps at UK HQ were unaware, I am unable to get the forum or site timed as post.

Appears to have gone around 1500z.

Thanks

Yep,

It seems, that the server is once again playing up. Our hosts have put this up:

Onsite Engineers are investigating the issue as to why this server has gone offline again.

I'm waiting on an update from them, hopefully we won't be out for long! Keep checking back..

Sorry for any inconvenience caused guys, as per above though, operations as normal as far as mentoring etc...
