Well after about 4 months of being part of the VATSIM community, flying almost every weekend (at least once), I think I want to give flying for a VA a shot. Though I don't want to fly for just any VA. Well, first of all, the VA has to support X-Plane 9 because that's my sim . I don't think there are to many of those out there, so it shouldn't be to hard . Here is a list of what I am kind of looking for, doesn't have to be exact...

1. Has to support X-Plane (I have a MAC)

2. I do not mind flying certain aircraft and routes, but I CAN NOT do certain times of days. (To much other things going on that are unpredictable)

3. Preferably a Non-fiction airline, but I'm not to concerned about that. (if there is a military "VA" out there, I'd love that: GO NAVY

4. Prior VA experience is not required

5. A Friendly environment

That's really it. Not to much. I'd just though I'd ask around before I blindly enter one and end up hating it. I'm sure there are plenty of VA veterans out there that can point me in the right direction

Thanks everyone, and yes, I enjoy every minute of VATSIM

All VA information can be found here: http://linksmanager.com/vatsimvas/...californiaair and leipzigair and also one of the continental VAs, come to mind for Xplane, but you should be able to find them in there.

For VA's that accept XPlane, check out

http://linksmanager.com/vatsimvas/directory21.html

But you will need to cycle through them to see non-fiction ones...I see a few on there that are.

Let's not start this shameless plug of each VA again.

Connor, please click this to see the list of current VATSIM partners who support X-Plane.

Cheers!

Wasn't that what caused a shut down of the last VA Discussions forum back in the day?

I thought it was the abuse given to every startup VA that came along. But I could be wrong.
