The event is an Approved Vatsim Charity Event. During the event, we will be raising money for Crohn's Disease. For every flight that is flown, $3 will be donated towards the Crohns and Colitis Foundation of America. The reason why I organized this was because I know that this community can come together to make a difference in people's life. Ive been in the hospital since September 22nd and I'm so grateful for the doctors and supporters who saved my life; which is why I'm giving back by helping those who are victims with this horrible disease. The money that is raised will be for Crohns Research. The routes for this event are not long at all. All I ask is that you take some time out of your schedule and fly one of the featured routes. You can book your departure slot at http://www.crossthegulf.com. Also, multiple payware companies donated prizes to give away to pilots. These prizes include scenery and planes of the winners choice. In order to have your name in the prize drawing, you must book a departure slot and fly in the event. Thank you for your time! There is no mandate for you to donate, just sign up, and fly it, and the donation will be made for you. It couldn't be easier, and for a better cause.
