Its the intel chipset. Turn off hardware acceleration within your control panel/display adapter.

Follow the instructions there posted by me, Although it leads to other issues, Personally I recommend installing XP or using a different computer.

ASRC is awesome... But this is the VRC forum after all, let's not go off and start talking about why ASRC is awesome.

 

On an unrelated note, My Win 7 Notebook also runs VRC fine, I've noticed that newer Intel chipsets in Notebooks don't seem to have the issue so much anymore.

Thanks Norman, Thanks Rahul! Well, yes, I found out that it is not feasible on win7. And actually I am lazy and timid of microsoft systems. So I do not use VRC on my laptop. As you said there are other softwares for brilliant jobs, too!
