XSquawkbox causing X-Plane crash

I went to fire up the ol' sim today and it immediately "quit unexpectedly." I tried a few more times, kept crashing. So I noticed that at the bottom of the screen where it shows what is being loaded it quits as soon as XSquawkbox displayed. So I took XSB out of the plugins folder and... X-Plane opens up like a charm.

So... What do I do? Did something weird happen?

This was a byproduct of the status server moving to a temporary location.. it's fixed now!

Eeeeeexcellent. Just fired it up and it works.

That's weird, though. I had no idea that the program interacted with any servers while it was booting up.

Yep, it's trying to get a list of VATSIM servers for you to connect to :-p

Try a fresh install of XSB. Does your log.txt specify at the end that XSB caused the crash?
