Adam Trzcinski Posted October 2, 2013 at 09:37 AM Posted October 2, 2013 at 09:37 AM As mentor, I already know which aircraft I want to make go-around, so I usually program the FAF of the opposite ILS or approach into the route field in the simulator and issue a "NEXT DIRECT" command and change the altitude to the appropriate hold altitude... then I try to manually have the aircraft follow the missed approach procedure.
