Before anyone asks, the time-expiration of 2/1/2014 is intentionally enabled. We will release another version to disable this once we are sure that no major issues have been found.

Thanks Wade!

As part of the neglected Linux community, I would like to know the release date of xsb64 for Linux.

Thks guys for the release.

It's unfortunately crashing Gizmo on my setup (Win7 64, 10.25b3 (tested also on b1)).

...
Gizmo64: Building Mouse Trap..
Gizmo64: XPluginStart - OK.
Loaded: C:\X-Plane_10/Resources/plugins/Gizmo64.plugin/64/win.xpl.

--=={This application has crashed because of the plugin: win.xpl}==--

And don't know why, it managed to start once (out of 30 attempts).

With Gizmo de-activated, it sometimes run, sometimes crash...

I'll try investigate more.

Charles

Edit: Gizmo sucks.

Charles,

I'm guessing you have Gizmo 64 because of an X-Aviation plane? A lot of Windows users are reporting this crash. Contact X-Aviation.

You can also send me ([email protected]) your mini dump file after a crash (should be located in %SystemRoot%\MiniDump and I should be able to use that to confirm whether the crash is in XSB (less likely) or Gizmo (more likely).

Any ETA on a possible release on the "fixed" XSB version that plays nice w/ Gizmo?

Hi!

Can't find the minidump file: where can that one be hidden on a Win7 install?

your mini dump file after a crash (should be located in %SystemRoot%\MiniDump

%SystemRoot% is your C:\Windows folder, so just C:\Windows\MiniDump

You can just type %SystemRoot%\MiniDump straight into the address bar of Windows Explorer.

Ditto on the Congrats to Wade & Co., I just installed 1.2b yesterday, and it works perfectly. Now I just have to learn how to fly this X-Plane 10.21 64bit (I'm a veteran of FSX, but after many wasted and frustrated hours I couldn't get FSX back running correctly on my brand new Windows7 64bit based PC )

I really wanted to keep flying online in VATSIM, so again thanks XSquawkbox.net, nicely done

Rory

I am so happy about that release. During the past months, I was running 64bit and 32bit simultaneously with a master/slave-setup, but that really was just a workaround, so it's great to know I can use X-Plane on VATSIM again now with just running one simulator.

Appreciate the kind words guys, but the credit goes to Ben Supnik and Christian Schilling, who did all the heavy lifting.

Yet another vote for the 64-bit Linux version. I'm a programmer; with not much spare time, but could try to help if there is some punctual issue that is blocking the release. Or at least do some beta testing.

Wade,

I got a crash when starting X-Plane. The normal X-Plane crash handler didn't come up for some reason so I popped up the debugger. I have a minidump as well if you want it.
