Hello,

let's [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ume we have made a simulator session in ES, either locally or hosted by the sweatbox server. Any chance we can see the traffic within FSX via e.g. FSInn? Such a configuration would help tremendously TWR ATCOs via sitting in their virtual tower in FSX and actually looking outside

If no, would it be difficult to implement?

It was implemented, but during the test it became obvious that it is very unstable and FSInn some times crushed. So when in simulation session the option is disabled.

Thank you.

It is a pity. Imagine the possibilities. If that was possible TWR ATCOs could train with even more realism, e.g. with a tower view, a virtual strip holder, AWOS etc. you have made a nice and realistic control tower.

Sorry, it seems that it works in Sweatbox. Just tried it. Friend hosted a s/b session, I connected with e/s, started a proxy, then connected via fsinn and i can see the traffic.

That is not a simulation session is it Your question was about the simulator and FSInn.

You are right. I thought that a local simulator session is the same as a sweatbox one. If sb ran an fsd server and both e/s and fsinn connected to it then you could ran a sweatbox session as it would run on a vatsim server.

The upcoming ES 3.2 has a complete new feature pack to connect your simulations session to FSX and have a much better experience than it would be possible with standard connections.

Some points from the manual changes:

- More advanced ground movement simulations. RWY exit definitions for automatic vacate. Taxiway definitions in the ESE file for quick, easy and precise selection of the route to follow.

- Ground vehicle simulations.

- Follow me, follow behind instructions.

- Landing gear, lights, flare, pitch, bank simulations.

- Emergency simulations (smoke, fire, landing gear problems).

- Up to 360 degrees full panorama 3D tower view support with Prepar3d or FSX.

- METAR simulations.

- Low approach, touch and go, abort takeoff simulations.

- Manual taxi dialog for slew mode in the simulator.

- Built-in scenario editor that works even on a running simulation.

I hope you will love it.
