VIP Model Set Not Working.

Hello,

I had the VIP model set working once before, but I reformatted my Hard Drive and can't get it to work again. Everytime I connect, I get a cascade of SimConnect Errors, saying that it was unable to load the VIP Models. I have included the VIP models in the FSX.cfg file. I am not sure where my problem is. So what error are you getting? Is it something along the lines of simconnect can't create abc123 and will use another model?

 

Do you have other model sets installed properly?

Yeah, that's exactly what it does.

 

[21:55:35] SimConnect Error: Failed to create aircraft SWA1297 using model "VIP_B732SWA". This usually means that the model is not actually installed in your simulator. The aircraft will be created with a different model.

I have not tried another model set as of yet.

I know you say the vip modelset is installed but the above link suggests it isn't done so properly. Can you reinstall SB to ensure the VIP set have been correctly installed. I would suggest other, newer modelsets would be a better option.

I'm guessing the aircraft.cfg in your VIP set was broken. Glad all is sorted.
