I have just been at the gate at EGCC and there is ATC present but when I press my PTT button and ask for a radio check I do not get any response even though the blue TX button lights up. I am a newbie to Vatsim and I am trying to make my first flight but I do not get any ATC response to my messages. I am probably doing something wrong but I am not sure what. Any help would be much appreciated. I have VPILOT set to Run as Administrator and have excluded the software from my firewall. Many thanks in anticipation.
