Can't verify VATSIM ID

I have the latest version of vRoute 1.1.1.3, but I'm unable to verify my VATSIM ID...

 

It opens up IE with an HTTP 500 error. I tried copying and pasting the link into Chrome (my default browser), and it took me to https://cert.vatsim.net/vatsimnet/usercheck.php with a bunch of variables after that... however on the page it was just a broken image and text saying "VATIM User Validation" and nothing else.

 

Can someone please help me verify my ID?
