So flying towards EHAM, about 5NM out of CLN and fsx crashes with the g3d.dll error

 

What actually causes this, and how can i fix it! is it an addons issue? if so, re-installing should fix the issue?

 

this is the exact error from log:

i have tried the UIAUTO... ddl fix - that hasnt worked. and updated FSUI.... TO V4.9...

 

really stuck now...

g3d is caused by your addon scenery and aircraft, not FSINN. will move the topic to the correct section

 

from the exception code, its a memory access violation. when the sim tried to access your memory to use for one of your addons, it wasnt available. so it has no choice left. its not the same as an out of memory error. in this case, it just wasnt available when it asked for it. if it happens in the same area often or the same aircraft often, thats where youll need to start looking for fixes of the developer has issued any

I'm not sure how reinstalling it would make things different.

 

See if you can duplicate the error. Then see if disabling the scenery makes it go away. If so, then try running with FSUIPC active (it has some ability to protect against G3D errors). If it still occurs, then maybe a reinstall might help.

The crash also only happens when online, could it be cased by third party aircraft that appear in the sky or on ground that might be causing the errors ??
