Wow, I thought it would seem longer, but it's flown by actually pretty fast - 5 days till the VATUSA convention!!!

For anyone who wants to track my flight, I'll be on:

ATA flight 4205, service from New York (LGA) to Chicago (MDW) departing at 8:09pm, arriving 9:40pm on Friday

ATA flight 4220, service from Chicago (MDW) to New York (LGA) departing at 12:28pm, arriving 3:27pm on Sunday

I'm really looking forward to meeting you all in person!

I wish that I could make it guys, but I have to work. I have been looking for trips with ORD overnights but I have been unable to find any. Maybe next year.

okay, I embellished a tad....fuel is 2.59 a gallon out here.

And my vehicle gets about 10 miles a gallon if I'm lucky...so maybe about 50 bucks round trip then.

But it sounded cool

Gas to drive round trip to airport - $8.53 (100 miles, 28mpg, $2.39/gal)

Airport parking for 2 days - $12.00

First cl[Mod - Happy Thoughts] round trip airfare on AAL, KSTL-KORD using frequent flyer miles - $5.00

Total - $25.53 or 3.64 cents/mile (I can almost taste that cheese now)

Spending quality time hobnobbing face to face with fellow ATC and flight simmers - priceless!

It only takes 2 things to fly, airspeed and money!
