VATAFR8 - Position Vacancy

The VATSIM Africa Division is currently seeking emails to fill the position of VATAFR8, Web and Technical Director

VATAFR8 is responsible for the management and maintenance of the VATSIM Africa Servers, including the Website, Forum, TeamSpeak, and other services utilized by the VATSIM Africa Division.

 

The requirements to be eligible for this position are as follows:

Be a VATSIM Member;

Have a Controller (C1) rating, minimum;

Have no major disciplinary history with the VATSIM Network, ever

Have, at least, three (3) months of vACC, ARTCC, or Division Webmaster Experience*

* - Virtual Airline Webmaster experience may be substituted on a case-by-case basis and such cases are only to be approved by VATAFR1.

 

As VATAFR8, you will be issued a VATSIM Africa Division email that will be used for only official business with VATSIM Africa. You may also be given additional responsibilities as the Division continues to develop it's entire program.

Your VATSIM Experience;

Any relevant information

 

Persons who apply will be notified if they are qualified or not for the position and those who are qualified may be offered a virtual interview on TeamSpeak.

 

This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is located and placed into the position

 

It is to be noted that the VATSIM Africa Division is not yet an official VATSIM Division; however, it is scheduled to be the official VATSIM Africa Division in the next coming weeks. VATSIM Africa will combine VATSIM North, Central, and South Africa Divisions.
