I just installed the newest vPilot client on my machine and while trying to set it up, got an exception. It happens when I am prompted to set up vPilot (for the first time). I can enter voice device fine but when I click on the button "Set new PTT Key or Button", I get an exception. I have tried searching the forums and came up empty handed (found a few threads about unhandled exceptions but never any solution). Please help. I have not tried DirectX but will try it later, maybe tomorrow. I also checked the system requirements and my machine meets them with no problems. I actually switched from vPilot to FSInn and that client works for me so we can dismiss this problem. And sorry about the poor choice of words in my earlier post, I was very frustrated with the bug. That's a pretty ignorant thing to say, especially to someone who has volunteered countless hours developing outstanding applications for the network - free of charge mind you. Until then the vast majority of users of this program have no problems. Mainly because they read the manual. Stick with FSInn. What device are you trying to use as your PTT? Keyboard, stick...... Just a thought, delete drivers for that device then unplug/plug to force fresh install. That might fix the issue.
