They're just a nuisance. To my knowledge there is no way to adjust their volume. To remove AI sounds, ensure that you have this line with this value in your fsx.cfg under [sOUND]: SOUND_LOD=1 This line forces FSX to use the stock AI sounds, not the once any AI package includes. Then all you have to do is to delete/move (moving to a backup folder is always a good idea) the stock AI sound files, found in Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Sound.
