The VATSIM Middle East (VATME) division is searching for vACC directors to take charge of a few inactive vACCs in the division. Many of these vACCs sit near strategic areas that can benefit and flourish from the help of a staff team leading them. With your help, these vACCs can grow and benefit from the active vACCs surrounding them along with the many flights that go through their skies each day.

The following vACCs are open for the vACC director position:

• Bahrain (in charge of Bahrain & Qatar)

• Iraq

• Syria

• Yemen

Prospective applicants can expect to fulfill the following:

• Oversee daily operations in the vACC

• Organize a dedicated team of staff to help fulfill sub-vACC positions such as Deputy Director, ATC Training Director and Events Director

• Process new vACC members and maintain the vACC roster at http://hq.vatme.net

In addition, applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Maintain a Controller (C1) rating or higher

• Must be in good standing with VATSIM. At least 50 hours on any CTR position, of which 30 hours on CTR in the past 6 months

• Dedicate 5 hours each week for administrative duties

• Should have good leadership skills (prior experience in staff positions is a bonus)

• Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken)

• A commitment to providing excellent services and support to the vACC

If you are interested, please send your application to [email protected]

OMAN vACC is now an OPEN AIRSPACE due to the resignation of Ryan Gerrard and this is purely because of real world commitments.

Bahrain vACC is no longer an open airspace. Please visit http://bh.vatme.net/ and http://vatme.net/

Regards,

Saad Belouafi

VATME Director
