Im Not sure if anyone has ever Created a such Desk similar to a Tracon or En-Route Position Desk.

But what im looking to make is a desk with a room for a keyboard mouse. and a main central area for a 24 inch display.

If anyone has any experience in creating a desk similar to this or with really good math skills to create up some dimensions it will be completely appreciated ive finally saved up some extra cash to make this dream desk a Reality.

Before you cut have a look at what screen you're going to get. Where I work we have widescreens now because the square ones are a lot more expensive.

I've tried to get a picture and this was the best I can find (it's in the middle of a youtube clip unfortuantely)

It's difficult to tell from that angle but the radar screens are not square. I belive the ratio is about 4:6 or so.

I did a quick search and the biggest square computer screen I found was an EIZO FlexScan for £688. A Lenovo Thinkvision which is the same width but not square that goes for £433 based on google.

Sweet setup! As a pilot I'm glad there's folks like you that are as into the controlling side as I am on the piloting side.

I love this idea; If I were not lazy, I'd be looking to do the exact same .

Kind Regards,

Kieran Cross,

I've dreamt of doing a trailer setup, painted in vatsim logo, with genset for power, and have maybe two consoles with a projector on a screen outside. Mainly for flightsim expos. We were having a few here in Australia years ago, so I was planning doing the tour, and even using it for events. Maybe it will be a retirement pastime.

Nice setup you have there.

This is my setup for ATC. Just using two monitor. I'm using Euroscope + FSX + VPilot to simulate tower view.
