Cannot Connect to VATSIM

Ok, so I have VPilot, It first will not allow me to connect with all my information put in

I have watched an video which I have to do something with SIMConnect, no luck. I have no idea on what the said issue is and any help to resolve it would be appreciated.

When you say it won't let you connect, what do you mean? Some specifics would help.

ill also add that trying to fix an "issue" you dont understand by trying to pick out videos that might be giving you wrong information is like trying to fix an electrical socket by sticking a screw driver into the socket, nothing good is going to come out of it.

Have you check that your firewall/virus blocker is not blocking vatsim?

Since he just joined VATSIM only 46 minutes before he posted saying he couldn't connect, chances are he didn't read the big, red, bold text on the signup screen that plainly states that it can take up to 24 hours for his membership information to propagate to the multiple servers within the network. That's where my money is. But, alas, until he actually posts the error message he received, we can't really effectively troubleshoot -- all folks are doing here now is guessing....

And we may not hear from him at all -- he has successfully connected to VATSIM three times so far. Problem solved!
